These paintings are inspired by water and landscape.  The application of layers of paint includes adding and subtracting, fault lines, erosion, emerging, disappearing.  There is fragility and vulnerability which endures alongside fragments of reconstruction, which mirror natural processes and indeed our life experiences.

The layers give an energy as the under layers peep through and textures hide and reveal.
