Inspired by wonderful rock formations in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica, where the sea meets the land. The colours on the rocks change with the lights, the lines appear and disappear, grow large and then shrink.  In this painting the lines have both been teased out from the textured layers, and incised into the layer.
