Caroline Forward

This is a selection of my more representational paintings, broadly organised into buildings, people and nature.  

I have always been a figurative artist, it is only in the last few years that my work has changed and I am now exploring the combination of figurative and abstracted elements sitting together within a painting. 

I do return to figurative work at times, and sometimes my creative process takes me off on a tangent which whilst I might like the result I may choose not to develop further.  

Weekly life drawing, as essential discipline,  continues to inform and ground my practice,
