This portrait was painted as part of Tom Croft's amazing initiative "Portraits of NHS Heroes" where artists painted portraits of NHS workers for free as a thank you for their continuing efforts on our behalf during the pandemic.  This is one of 350 portraits out of the many thousands created that was selected for and published in the book "Portraits of NHS Heroes", which also gave proceeds of sales to NHS Charities.
