The fabric of the building of Ely Cathedral is beautiful. It holds history, it asks to be caressed, it allows what went before to be present now. It holds the touch and the presence of the craftsmen who have contributed to it, it is often worn but solid, carrying a sense of secrets held, changing in the changing light of day, like a whispered conversation. Oil and cold wax on cradled panel set in a painted tray frame, overall size 38x30.5cm .  This will be exhibited as part of the "After The Fall" exhibition at Ely Cathedral from 27th April to 29th May 2022.
