Inspired by the tropical dry forest of the Guanacaste region in Costa Rica where ecosystems still flourish despite encroaching development and tourism.  I love the texture of the bark of the trees, their entangled limbs, and the light vegetation and vines that hang down.  Oils and cold wax on deep edge canvas, overall size 60 x 76 x 3.8cm.
