"Shadows in the Glass"
For me Ely Cathedral encapsulates history, years and years of being a central part of its community, used in many different ways, built, fallen, changed, still standing with its past of people flowing through. I liked the sense of the shadows in the stained glass like the shadows of the past held in the building. Oils and cold wax on cradled panel set in a painted tray frame, overall size 44.5x32.5cm. Exhibited as part of the OuseLife "After The Fall" exhibition at Ely Cathedral, May 2022.
